As you may know, this fall I will be attending college in Virginia — roughly four hours from Lancaster. With this in mind, I have made the decision to wind down all Computer Companions services over the next two months. On Friday, August 20th, I will officially stop offering all services, and my phone system and website will stop accepting inquiries.
Between today and August 20th, you may notice that my response times are slower than normal, and fewer appointment slots are available. This is largely due to vacations I have planned this summer, as well as an additional job I have taken. My schedule is much fuller than normal, even despite being out of school. With that said, I will do everything I can to make sure I can resolve as many issues as possible before the closure — do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything. For faster service, please consider booking appointments or sending messages online. Of course, I will remain reachable at 717-925-0014, too.
Over the last several months, I have searched for comparable businesses that I could recommend as my services become unavailable. Unfortunately, I have not yet found any competitors that I would feel comfortable recommending. I say this not out of pride, but because I simply have not found anyone willing to provide the unique combination of in-home repair, support, and instruction at a similar price. If you know of any businesses that may fit this description, please feel free to pass them along so I can recommend them to other customers.
I know that you have relied on Computer Companions services, and I truly apologize for any inconvenience this decision has caused. It is not easy for anyone involved, but I believe it is necessary as I leave the area.
